Sorry to bring Amway into it. May make a few of you laugh though. Jesus told me to leave Amway behind one day. Lookin’ in your eyes I see a paradise They say that to look into Jesus eyes is pure love and peace. This would certainly explain the lyrics. This world that I found is too good to be true Standing here beside you, want so much to give you. The world can look a lot better when you know Jesus. As a person that suffers from a mental illness, times have been hard for me sometimes but often times when all hope seems to be gone I can look back on the visions where I have seen Jesus and I am smiling again. I have been fortunate enough to have Jesus stand beside me on earth and walk beside me on earth. Perhaps its my reward for my exquisite form of suffering I have gone through. One thing is true, the more you know Jesus, the more you want to live for Him. Theres so much I want to give for Jesus and it keeps me going each day. Keeps me breathing, keeps me writing and keeps me giving money out of the little that I have. This love in my heart and I feel it for you I know Jesus mainly as a friend. But I do know Him as Master and King and I do experience Him as Groom. The love I have for Jesus keeps me going and keeps me living to do more and more for Him. He is real to Me, His written Word is true for me, and my love for Him like a wine is maturing through each experience. The closer you get to Jesus the less racist you become and the more understanding and the more gentle you become. Knowing Jesus has real benefits. It also says in Proverbs that the LORD will make a righteous mans path straight. Doing things the LORDS ways may in some circumstances be totally the opposite of what mans mind or instructions would say. This is why these verses exist in the scriptures. Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Jeremiah 17:7-8 7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. 8 For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear[a] when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. I wrote a four hundred page novel called The Fallen Ones and for ten years held on to the hope that one day I was going to publish it. Then eighteen months ago Jesus told me through a song and a scripture verse that I was to throw the novel away. It was very hard to do. Some would say this lyric was true when I threw the manuscript away Let ‘em say we’re crazy, I’ll give a path And I have to trust the Lord Jesus as He directs me. It may be crazy at times. Some people were saddened to hear that I had thrown out my novel and yet others were overjoyed as they knew it was not what the Lord wanted for my life. Put your hands in my hand baby don’t ever look back Let the world around us, just fall apart Baby we can make it if we’re heart to heart And we can build this thing together Standing strong forever Nothing’s gonna stop us now So I put my hands in Jesus hands and sometimes the whole world falls apart around me. I have watched 9-11 with total peace and Katrina with total peace and watched the tsunami in peace and while the whole world is being affected by global warming I am confident that the Lord Jesus knows exactly what is going on. And the whole world around us is falling apart. Jesus has set me goals to work toward and is giving me things to do each week and in this song He promises me each time it plays that not even my mental illness is going to be able to stop me. Sure I am crazy believing a song, but you should try it. It is so refreshing to have a song to listen to from time to time when the radio is playing that catches you by surprise and brings tears of joy to your eyes. And if this world runs out of lovers We’ll still have each other Nothing’s gonna stop us Nothing’s gonna stop us I’m so glad I found you I’m not gonna lose you Whatever it takes I will stay here with you Take it to the good times See it through the bad times Whatever it takes is what I’m gonna do It seems this whole world is in love with materialism. People run to and fro in search of a new possession and a new lover and meanwhile with my TV, DVD player and computer I am sitting proud as punch like a king. I hardy even use my DVD player and I am not against possessions but I know why James speaks so harshly against the love affair people have with the world. James 4:2-4 2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Jesus has been with me through the good times and He has been with me through the bad times and whatever it takes He is going to do it to make sure I prosper as scripture promises if I obey Him I will prosper. Jesus is such an inspiration. I just thought I would share all this with you. I was doing some work tonight editing some articles and this song played and I couldnt let it pass without sharing my heart with you. Fall in love with Jesus. Let me pray. Father I pray that this short article touches the people that read it. I pray that the Word in this article ministers to some people and they see the wisdom in obeying you and following in your ways rather than the ways of the world. I pray that the reader falls more in love with you than the world. I pray that you can bless the reader as they repent of their idolatry with other lovers other than your Son.
